Overview

Mexico, the second strongest economy in Latin America and the thirteenth worldwide, with almost 132 million inhabitants, is the second largest Data Center market in the Latin American region.

It has a privileged geographical position, bordering the U.S.A. to the North, Central America to the South, and the Caribbean to the East. In addition, it borders the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.

Its proximity to the U.S.A. has served for the development of its technological infrastructure, even though Mexico City is the capital of the country and the most important economic center, Queretaro became the most important Hub in the country, this is because Mexico City has very constant seismic activity and does not have enough space for the development of large Data Centers. Queretaro is followed by Guanajuato, Nuevo Leon, the State of Mexico, and Mexico City.
