Capgemini

Overview

Capgemini provides consulting services in three key areas of customer experience, intelligent industry and business management, with a focus on facilitating the adoption of cloud technologies, data and artificial intelligence. Capgemini was initially founded as Société pour la Gestion de l'Entreprise et le Traitement de l'Information (Sogeti) in 1967. The company was renamed as a result of the acquisitions of US based Gemini Computer Systems in 1974 and CAP (Centre d'Analyse et de Programmation) in 1975. Other notable acquisitions include UK IT outsourcing company Hoskyns Group in 1990, the consulting practise of Ernst & Young the same year, and French engineering company Altra in 2019.
