Telxius

Overview

Founded in 2016 by Telefonica Infra, Telxius is a Spanish telecommunications company owned by Telefonica which offers various services, including data centres, network connectivity, and telecommunications towers, serving a range of clients, both individual and corporate.

A significant aspect of Telxius' operations is its investment in data centres and the company also maintains a network of telecommunications towers as part of its broader infrastructure. Telxius also oversees a global cable network, operating over 100,000 kilometres of submarine fibre optics between Europe and the Americas.

This infrastructure encompasses various key elements, such as SAM-1 and the PCCS (Pacific Caribbean Cable System), which provide connections between The United States and Latin America.
