Americas Webinar: Powering the Next Wave of U.S. Data Center Growth

Americas Webinar: Powering the Next Wave of U.S. Data Center Growth

WEBINAR | SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 | 4 PM ET | FREE TO ATTEND

Join Colby Cox, Alexandra Desseyn, and experts from across the power and data center ecosystem for a data-led discussion on how access to power is shaping development across the United States.

Power is now central to nearly every major data center decision, but the challenge extends beyond whether enough capacity exists. Utility timelines, transmission constraints, interconnection queues, regulatory changes, and rising infrastructure costs are determining which projects can move forward, where they can be built, and when they can be energized.

Rather than stop at “power is the biggest constraint,” this webinar will examine what that actually means for projects, stakeholders, and markets across the United States. We’ll begin with a brief market overview from Colby and Alexandra to contextualize current development activity, power availability, project timelines, and where constraints are having the greatest impact. Afterwards, our panel of experts will explore how developers, utilities, operators, regulators, and investors are responding to these challenges on the ground.

What You’ll Learn

  • How AI and hyperscale development are changing load requirements and infrastructure planning
  • What utility timelines, transmission constraints, and queue management mean for grid access
  • Which alternative and behind-the-meter strategies could accelerate time to power
  • How utility and developer relationships are evolving to support large-load customers
  • How power availability is reshaping site selection and market viability
  • How policymakers and regulators are approaching infrastructure investment, tariffs, and grid upgrade costs
  • How power uncertainty is influencing execution risk, investment decisions, bottlenecks, and opportunities
