APIS IT was founded at the end of 2005 by the contract between the Government of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Zagreb to perform tasks of development and maintenance of the crucial information systems of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Zagreb.
In 2020, it acquired PCK'a data centre DC Jaska in Jastrebarsko, Croatia for 78 million kuna (around £9.2m). It also operates a self-build site since 1987.
