Overview
Chief Telecom was established in January 1991, initially as a system integrator to becoming the largest telecommunications bandwidth wholesaler in Taiwan by 1996, and then a Type II operator of telecommunication centres in 2000.
In 2006, Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), the largest telecom service provider in Taiwan, acquired more than 70% share of Chief Telecom.
