Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC also know as Etisalat by e& is a United Arab Emirates-based telecom company founded in 1976. 60% of the Etisalat is owned by the Emirates Investment Authority with the rest of the business being publicly listed in the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
Etisalat provides a wide range of services going from broadband, mobile, fixed-line to cloud. In October 2021, the company announced a joint venture with G42 launching Khazna Data Centers. Prior to the JV both Etisalat and G42 operated data centres for cloud, telecom and governmental purposes. Etisalat still operates some facilities for such as its SmartHubs dotted around the Emirates.
