Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS)

Overview

The Illinois Central Management Services (CMS) is a state department that is responsible for supporting the state by enabling more than 80 agencies, boards, and commissions to deliver efficient services to Illinois citizens. In April 2021, it was announced that CMS was planning to spend $80.5 million to rebuild its Central Computing Facility in Springfield, Illinois. The facility was funded as part of the Rebuild Illinois capital plan; a $45bn investment effort.
