Melita, formerly known as Melita Cable, is a Malta-based telecommunications business which was founded in 1992. It offers a range of services typical of a business within this sector such as cable television, mobile telephone services, fixed telephone services and Internet/broadband - they were the first business to offer high-definition television services in Malta.

Melita was initially acquired from GMT Communications Partners, MC iVenture Partners, Blackrock Communications and the Gasan Group by Apax Partners. However, in May 2019, the business was acquired again, this time by EQT Partners. Later that year, the company released melita.io; a brand centred on providing machine to Machine and Internet of Things connectivity with entities throughout Europe.
