Overview

NESSUS GmbH was founded in 1999. Florian Schicker, the founder and CEO of NESSUS, still owns 100% of the company. Over time, NESSUS has evolved from being a web hosting service provider to a serving housing and Internet business ISP. Companies such as MJAM and Greenpeace are among their long-standing customers.

NESSUS operates two ISO-certified, high-security data centres in the heart of Vienna. They span over 2300 m2. NESSUS opened their first data centre, NESSUS Data Center 1, in 2009 in Vienna’s 10th district. It now provides over 140 server cabinets and is powered by 100% green electricity. Their second data centre, NESSUS Data Center 2, opened in 2017. It offers 400 server racks and is also powered by 100% green energy.
