Overview
Netia is one of the largest Polish telecommunication operators, part of the Polsat Plus Group. It was established in early 1990s as RP Telecom. Since 2000, company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In May 2018, Cyfrowy Polsat - large Polish media and telecommunications group - gained majority stake in Netia SA.
In 2020 January, Netia acquired a data centre from Ringier Axel Springer Polska (RASP), which was used by the Onet Group. Onet Group was one of the larger data centres operator in Poland.
