QScale

Overview

QScale was established in 2018 by the previous founders of 4Degrees. 4Degrees was acquired by Videotron in 2015 and then by Vantage Data Centers in 2019. QScale's first campus was completed south of Quebec City in 2023. The project received funding from the Legault government through Investissement Québec, fund manager Desjardins Capital, Aligned Data Centers, owned by Macquarie Asset Management, and various private investors. A second campus has also been announced for east of Montreal.
