Overview

TIM is Italy's largest telecommunications provider and offers mobile and fixed telephone products, as well as managed services to accompany businesses in digitization, cloud, IoT and cybersecurity. Through it's acquisition of managed service provider Noovle in 2019, TIM is a Google Cloud partner and operates dedicated core and cloud data centres in Turin, Milan and Rome. As part of a consortium, TIM was also awarded the tender to facilitate the migration of government systems onto the cloud. TIM also develops optic fibre fixed-line network infrastructure throughout the country and internationally through it's subsidiary Sparkle. Since 2021, a potential sale of the group's fixed assets has continued to be explored.
