Overview

Founded in 1984, Vodafone is an English multinational telecommunications company, with operations across Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, with partner networks further increasing their coverage in each of these markets. Through the company's operations, they have continuously acquired other telecommunications operators - such as Cable & Wireless Worldwide and AirTouch Communications. Accompanying its global scale, the company operates many of its own data centre facilities whilst also occupying space in independent colocation sites as well, both approaches being taken with the purpose of supporting regional business operations.
