Overview
Fully separate from ERCOT, this 5GW project plans to combine wind, solar, batteries, and dual-fed gas turbines in a 100% 24/7 Green Energy undertaking.
The project known as 'Data City' will be located on 50,000 acres near Laredo, TX but the definitive location has not been shared.
Built out in phases, the first 300MW and 1 million sqft of data center space is planned to live in 2026.
The project is designed with the capability to host large AI workloads including DLC cooling, supporting NVIDIA's latest Blackwell and Rubin chip designs.
