Overview
The U.S. government is exploring industry interest in developing a large-scale commercial data center on a 330 acre parcel of land (expandable to 620-acres) at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona.
The proposed facility is envisioned to support 500+MW of power capacity, aligning with national objectives to enhance AI innovation and energy resilience.
Currently, the project is in the early assessment phase, with a Request for Information (RFI) issued to gauge potential industry participation.
The site is strategically located south of the flight line, with potential expansion options, including adjacent properties and an abandoned landfill.
