Overview
March 2025, CURRENC Group Inc. (Nasdaq: CURR) announced plans to develop a 500MW hyperscale AI Data Center (AIDC) in Johor, Malaysia. The project is planned to be built on 100 acres of land and developed in phases, with the first 100MW expected to be operational by the end of 2026. The facility reportedly will offer co-location and wholesale leasing solutions to hyperscalers, enterprises, and other data center users.
