Overview

Quebec is a long-standing leader in the Canadian Data Center industry. Its accessability to hydropower and cool weather keeps both costs down and facilities environmentally friendly. Montreal is designated as a primary market in this province due to its size. It is easily equipped to handle the current market capacity and is building its capability for impending large colo, cloud, and hyperscale projects. Quebec City is the second-largest hub in this market, and similarly to Montreal, is working to build capacity for larger projects. Quebec is helped by its proximity to US markets, but is ultimately strong in its own capability to host the Data Center industry.
