Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced mission critical research professional to join our growing Americas team. This role will focus on delivering high-impact research and market intelligence on hyperscale and mission-critical infrastructure across the region.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with deep industry insight and commercial acumen, serving as DC Byte’s internal expert on hyperscale activity and supporting both client-facing and strategic initiatives.

About You
- You bring 5+ years of experience in the data centre industry, ideally with exposure to large-scale data centre projects or mission-critical infrastructure.
- Your background may include real estate, engineering, advisory, or technical consulting related to data centre development or investment.
- You’re deeply embedded in the data centre ecosystem — you understand its technical requirements, procurement models, development cycles, and key players.
- You’re personable, credible, and trusted by senior stakeholders, with an existing network across operators, developers, contractors, and consultants.
- You’re strategic and commercially minded, connecting market trends to business opportunities.
- You can communicate complex technical and commercial insights clearly, both in writing and presentations, to C-level and investment audiences.
- You’re organized, analytical, and proactive, capable of managing multiple priorities and building market coverage autonomously.
- You have strong data and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI, databases); experience with GIS, cloud, or power infrastructure is a plus.
- You’re resilient, resourceful, and collaborative, bringing energy and curiosity to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as DC Byte’s subject matter expert on hyperscale and mission-critical markets in the Americas.
- Monitor, analyse, and interpret market activity, supply-demand trends, and investment patterns across hyperscale developments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with operators, developers, consultants, and other key ecosystem players to source primary market intelligence.
- Produce high-impact reports, presentations, and commentary that support commercial teams, clients, and internal strategy.
- Synthesize technical and commercial data into actionable insights that guide business development, site selection, and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with global research colleagues to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment in data and analysis.
- Take ownership of geographic and sector coverage, maintaining a strong pipeline of insights that feed into DC Byte’s products and client deliverables.
- Represent DC Byte at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted authority in the digital infrastructure space.
- Contribute to team culture by bringing curiosity, collaboration, and thought leadership to every interaction.
