Artnet was founded in 1996 in Gdansk, Poland, offering its clients comprehensive IT solutions and professional internet services.

In 1997, they became a licensed operator, receiving a license from the Minister of Communications to provide telecommunications services, and launched their first web and e-mail server.

In 1999, they started providing Internet access services in the Tri-City based on a backbone fiber optic network.
