Alliance positions DC Byte as Data Centres Australia’s official data centre market intelligence partner
DC Byte, the leading global provider of data centre market intelligence, and Data Centres Australia, have firmed a new partnership to provide independent data insights to inform evidence-based policy and development initiatives.
Australia has emerged as a key data centre market within the Asia-Pacific region in recent years with significant opportunity for continued investment. The partners today realeased their Australian Data Centre Forecast Report, revealing that Australia’s Operational IT reached 1.4 GW by the end of Q4 2025. This rapid growth is expected to continue, with the Australian market projected to expand at a five-year CAGR of 17% to reach 3.1–3.2 GW by 2030.
Data Centres Australia will draw on DC Byte’s market intelligence to support its engagement with members, policymakers, and stakeholders. As official data centre market intelligence partner, DC Byte will also provide support to Data Centres Australia members through briefings, insight sessions, and other engagements.
